Reddit campaign launcher

Use this skill when the user wants to launch or manage a Reddit growth campaign — "set up a Reddit campaign for our product," "create an advocate," "review our pending Reddit drafts." Creates the campaign, attaches target subreddits, configures advocate personas with a daily-draft cap, and runs the human-approval loop on drafted posts. Runs on the ReddGrow CLI against the user's own account.

SKILL.md

Use when launching or running a Reddit growth campaign. Produces a live campaign with target communities, an advocate persona, and a queue of individually-reviewed post drafts. Exact commands live in references/commands.md.

Launch

  1. create the campaign with the product name, URL, and how the brand should be mentioned — the mention framing shapes every draft, so get it from the user, not from the website title
  2. attach target subreddits — research them first (community fit is its own discipline; vet before adding, don't add every keyword match)
  3. create an advocate: name, role (user or employee), tone, and a daily-draft cap. Start the cap low — three a day — and raise it only after draft quality proves out
  4. pull the first pending drafts and review them with the user

The approval loop

Drafts are the product. Review each one against: does it sound like a knowledgeable community member, does it follow that subreddit's rules, does it disclose affiliation where the community expects it. Approve individually; skip anything that reads like an ad. Check the draft pipeline stats to keep the queue moving.

What good looks like

A great campaign has a handful of well-chosen communities, an advocate voice tuned to each, and a 100%-human-reviewed draft stream — accepted posts and genuine replies, not volume. The overlooked trap: raising the daily-draft cap before the voice is right, which floods the queue with mediocre drafts and burns reviewer attention. Success is accepted posts and thread engagement, not drafts generated.

MUST review drafts individually — never bulk-approve unread. MUST verify each target subreddit's rules before its first post. NEVER present an advocate as unaffiliated where the community requires disclosure. Check remaining credits before batch operations.
